Faryn Pearl

Biography

Faryn Pearl is an American animation director known for co-directing DreamWorks' Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken (2023), making her the youngest female feature animation director. A University of Pennsylvania graduate (Classical Studies, English, Fine Arts), she began in storyboarding for shows like Big City Greens and Trolls World Tour, transitioning to directing after developing a deep connection with the Ruby Gillman characters, pitching herself to the director to help tell their story.
