Wade Cota is a singer and songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona who placed in the top five on season 17 of American Idol. Known for his soulful voice and stature, Cota's audition included sharing a difficult story of abuse from his biological father. After the show, Cota faced challenges including hateful messages and depression. He and his mother embarked on a health journey that included intermittent fasting, a keto lifestyle, and eliminating sugar and soda.
